[vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]In 1966, a group of friends, fond of Delahaye, created the Delahaye Club through the impetus given by Jean-Pierre Bernard, one of the last salesmen of the make. So far, the Club has registered about 1800 cars built between 1894 and 1954, thus representing a sample of the master pieces designed by famous coachbuilders and designers such as :

ANTEM – CHAPRON – DUBOS – FAGET VARNET – FIGONI FALASCHI – FRANAY – GUILLORE –

LABOURDETTE – LETOURNEUR & MARCHAND – POURTOUT – SAOUTCHIK and so on.

It is concerned with all types of vehicles the Make built. Members of the Delahaye Club are proposed the following activities :

Twice a year, the Club organises an outing (the first occurs on the spring time, the other during the autumn season). One after another, each region of France and its neighbouring countries is visited (England, the Netherlands, Switzerland),with a view to permit all the members of the Club to meet each other and take their Delahaye for a drive.

Good mood and friendship is guaranteed![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]Each year, the Club is present at the RETROMOBILE show in Paris, thus keeping the Make alive,

and letting the majority of people know about the Club and the world of DELAHAYE. Special dinners are organised each year, to which key figures of the automobile world are invited

(coachbuilders, former drivers, race mechanics, journalists, etc…)

Each year the Club publishes 3 BULLETINs, full of articles concerning the Make’s technical

and racing history, reports on the outings organised, information about the Club activities,

classified ads – all these duly illustrated by drawings and numerous photographs.

The preservation of authenticity is another essential concern of the Club, it is therefore in a position to provide anybody with related information. Besides, members will find an important technical documentation at their disposal.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_single_image source=”external_link” external_img_size=”350×250″ alignment=”right” external_style=”vc_box_shadow_border” onclick=”link_image” custom_src=”https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/originals/fd/27/9b/fd279bb8f4b16f5a95148b0074bf8656.jpg”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_single_image source=”external_link” external_img_size=”300×200″ external_style=”vc_box_shadow_border” onclick=”link_image” custom_src=”http://cdn.silodrome.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/01/1936-Delahaye-135-S-3.jpg”][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1492776681927{padding-top: -10px !important;}”]M.
Moreover, M. Emmanuel JOIN-LAMBERT is in charge of the Make’s general archives
